Balázs Farkas continues his outstanding run at the $43,000 PSA Budapest Squash Open. The Hungarian national team player defeated Japan’s Ryunosuke Tsukue, the No. 7 seed, 3–0 in Wednesday’s quarter-final to secure his place in the last four.
Balázs produced a confident performance throughout the match, winning in straight games 11–9, 11–6, 11–2.

The Hungarian has now recorded three impressive victories in Budapest. He defeated New Zealand’s Oliver Dunbar in five games in the opening round before producing a major upset against Spanish No. 2 seed Bernat Jaume, winning 3–1 in the last 16. His straight-games victory over Tsukue has now taken him into the semi-finals.
