The $32,000 PSA World Ranking Tournament began in Budapest on September 20.
On the first day, the audience could see 16 athletes in 8 extremely exciting matches at Marczibányi Square. Two of our Hungarian athletes, who won wild cards, also took to the field, Dániel Simon lost to Portuguese Rui Soares 3-0 (11-3, 11-5, 11-9), and Benedek Takács also lost to Egyptian Yassin Elshafei 3-0 (11-3, 11-1, 11-4).
Balázs Farkas, the number one player in our country, will take to the field on Sunday at 16:45 against Frenchman Toufik Makhalfi (vr.71) for a place in the top eight.
